The workshop was filled with an assortment of unique pieces of furniture, rare timber off cuts and all the signs of work in progress. His expertise with timber species, finishes, and the overall process helped shape Jonathan’s passion for materials and detail and the importance of understanding each project from start to finish. It was here that Jonathan discovered the thrill of making.

It was through Jonathan’s training as a joiner and furniture maker that he discovered a love of detail and how approaching different materials and methods thoughtfully can be brough together to create a unique item, permanent and useful.
